文章摘要: A deep weld, deprived of defects requires proper welding parameters. Usually it requires a set of experiments which examine a cross section of welded sample. This is the most precise method to estimate the weld shape and its defectiveness, but the method is costly and time consuming. Immediately after the welding, only weld face can be observed. An experienced operator of a welding machine, looking at the weld face by standard optical or electronic observation systems is able to estimate the weld quality. But it is not enough to select the parameters which guarantee the best results of electron beam welding. The main purpose of this paper is to answer a question about some correlation between a profile of the weld face and an internal part of the weld, as well as possibly to detect this profile in the form of electronic data, which can be used not only for observation but also to determine the set of the optimum welding parameters.
